I know nearly every other organization has done a ranking like this one, but this version is particularly kind to me. Seeing as I’ve spent the past five and a half years in two of the happiest cities in the country (# 7 and # 1, no less!), it looks like I have no excuse to be anything but happy!   1. A bizarre list if ever I saw one. Obviously mild winters don’t make people happy. And we have friends who happily moved back from Hawaii because of the crazy cost of living and terrible schools.
